I just looked at no less than five articles calling for discrimination against unvaccinated Americans. This, after a poll found that sixty percent of Americans oppose public figures criticizing the unvaccinated. Listen to me very carefully vax shamers. Putting something in MY body is MY choice. And, nobody else can force me to do it. Stop the vax shaming now. You’re going to stir a pot you don’t want to stir.
No Fly List
Former Assistant Secretary for Homeland Security under President Obama Juliette Kayyem called Tuesday for the Biden administration to restrict the unvaccinated from flying by placing them on a no-fly list.
New York City
Andy Slavitt, former Biden White House COVID-19 Response Coordinator and former acting administrator of the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services, praised Mayor Bill de Blasio’s plan to discriminate against unvaccinated individuals by forcing indoor restaurants, gyms, and entertainment venues to require patrons to show proof of vaccination prior to entry.
Jennifer Aniston
Actress Jennifer Aniston said she cut ties with “a few people” over their coronavirus vaccination status, and insisted that people have a “moral” and “professional” obligation to share whether or not they’ve been vaccinated.
Pete Parada
The vaccination mandate just cost Offspring drummer Pete Parada his job.
Parada wrote on InstagramAMP that his doctor advised him not to get vaccinated due to his rare autoimmune disorder.
I am “unable to comply with what is increasingly becoming an industry mandate,” he wrote, adding that leaving the band was not his decision. “[I]t has recently been decided that I am unsafe to be around, in the studio and on tour.”
No Fun League (NFL)
NFL players who aren’t vaccinated will be monitored for compliance with mask rules and other restrictions that don’t apply to vaccinated players, and every time an unvaccinated player breaks a COVID-19 protocol, it will cost him. The standard fine is $14,650 for a violation of the COVID-19 protocols.
According to a memo shared on Twitter by NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero, the league has mandated that a game cannot be rescheduled due to a COVID-19 outbreak among unvaccinated players — and that team will be forced to forfeit, resulting “in a loss for playoff seeding.”
The league is reportedly working on a new angle to single out those that don’t get vaccinated, by having unvaccinated players wear bright-colored wristbandsAMP.
Big Government
The biggest precedent so far has come from the federal government, the nation’s largest employer. President Joe Biden announced last week that all federal employees and contractors must get vaccinated or put up with weekly testing and lose privileges such as official travel.
President Biden warned that people who do not get the vaccine will “end up paying the priceAMP.”
My Fellow Americans
A majority of Americans support workplace, lifestyle and travel restrictions for those not inoculated against COVID-19, according to a Reuters/Ipsos poll.
62% said unvaccinated people should not be allowed to travel on airplanes. Fifty-five percent agreed that unvaccinated people should not work out at public gyms, enter movie theaters or attend public concerts. 60% of Americans said they wanted to work for an employer “who requires everyone to get a coronavirus vaccine before returning to the office” and 56% thought unvaccinated workers should stay home.
No Cruises
Unvaccinated passengers who want to board a Carnival-owned cruise ship must first buy a travel insurance policyAMP worth at least $10,000, according to a recently announced company rule. The policies are expected to add about $100 to $200 per person to the total costs of a standard cruise. Unvaccinated passengers who don’t have insurance won’t be allowed to board and their ticket purchase won’t be refunded.
Royal Caribbean said that certain venues on the ship are off-limits to unvaccinated passengers. You can’t eat at restaurants, go to bars, go to the nightclub, gamble in the casinos or swim. Basically, you can sit in your cabin and walk around the decks. Like I would pay for that.
Conclusion
I said this before and I’ll say it again. The vax shamers are all for pro-choice when it means a mother can choose to kill her baby. But, as they always hypocritically do, the same rules don’t apply when it comes to choosing not to have something put into your body that you don’t want. My body, my choice. Does that sound familiar to you vax shamers?
I also said this before. The more you push the vaccine by discriminating against the hesitant people, the more I distrust the vaccine and your intentions. There is something very fishy when you have to force something by taking away freedoms and calling people stupid. One day, I’m sure we’ll find out what’s really happening.
When did HIPAA (Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act) go away? When did my health decisions become everyone’s business, especially the federal government? Stay out of my business. I’ll make my own decision. I don’t need anybody to decide for me.
