World Reaction to the Trump Arrest

Last modified date

Based on the world reaction to the Trump arrest, I would say he was quite respected by some world leaders. And, I would say that America is a laughingstock on the world stage now. That is exactly what George Soros wants for America. Shame on you people that think George Soros is your friend. He is the most evil person on the planet. In fact, he is the third anti-Christ.

Hungary

Viktor Orban, the prime minister of Hungary, tweeted “Keep on fighting, Mr. President! We are with you, @realDonaldTrump.” He also included a nice photo of himself with President Trump. What a class act!

El Salvador

President Bukele of El Salvador condemned the indictment of President Trump

El Salvador’s President Nayib Bukele tweeted “Think what you want about former President Trump and the reasons he’s being indicted,” Bukele tweeted. “But just imagine if this happened in any other country, where a government arrested the main opposition candidate. The United States ability to use ‘democracy’ as foreign policy is gone.”

He also tweeted “Sadly, it’ll be very hard for U.S. foreign policy to use arguments such as ‘democracy’ and ‘free and fair elections,’ or try to condemn ‘political persecution’ in other countries, from now on.”

He absolutely nailed it!

Mexico

Mexican president López Obrador said “Supposedly legal issues should not be used for electoral, political purposes.” He continued, “That’s why I don’t agree with what they are doing to ex-President Trump. It should be the people who decide,” he added.

Laughing

Chinese commentators were savage and painted it as an indictment of American democracy as a whole. A professor at Renmin University of China, said in an op-ed in Hong Kong’s South China Morning Post on Tuesday that China was “chuckling” at the irony of the United States holding democracy summits while putting a former president on trial.

Surprises

I just picked myself up off the ground. Mitt Romney actually voiced “kind of” criticism of Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg’s indictment of the former president, calling it an “overreach” that is political in nature.

Democratic State Rep. Tricia Cotham joined House and Senate GOP leaders at the North Carolina GOP headquarters Wednesday morning to announce that she is switching parties to become a member of the House Republican caucus.

She said, “As long as I have been a Democrat, the Democrats have tried to be a big tent. But this now, where we are, the modern-day Democratic Party has become unrecognizable to me, and to so many others throughout the state and the country,” Cotham said. “The party wants to villainize who has free thought, free judgment, has solutions, who wants to get to work to better our state, not just sit in a meeting and have a workshop after a workshop.”

Contenders?

Mike Pence called it an “outrage,” arguing that the case against Trump is “tenuous” and will “only further serve to divide our country.”

“This is more about revenge than it is justice,” former South Carolina Gov. Nikki Haley tweeted shortly after the indictment.

South Carolina Senator Tim Scott, argued that Bragg “has failed to uphold the law for violent criminals, yet weaponized the law against political enemies.” He went on to say “This is a travesty and it should not be happening in the greatest country on Earth. The presumption of innocence is central to our legal system, yet is selectively discarded by those on the far left today.”

Mike Pompeo tweeted that “prosecuting serious crimes keeps Americans safe, but political prosecutions put the American legal system at risk of being viewed as a tool for abuse. DA Bragg – spend taxpayers’ money and your energy protecting law-abiding citizens. Not playing politics.”

Vivek Ramaswamy, a Republican candidate for president, posted his reaction in a Twitter video. “This is wrong. This is dangerous,” he said. “We are skating on thin ice as a country right now.”

Spineless

Joe Biden’s reaction was “”. England’s reaction was “”. France’s reaction was “”. Germany’s reaction was “”. Canada’s reaction was “”. And these countries are supposed to be our “democratic” allies? It’s a shame when you don’t get to run your own country.

Conclusion

Trump joins leaders in at least 78 other countries who have been prosecuted or jailed for crimes after leaving office since 2000, according to Axios. And, in honor of Holy Week, Jesus was also arrested by an angry mob. I like to say that because it absolutely riles up the left. To be honest, a lot of world leaders have not voiced any reaction yet. That’s because they can’t offend their World Economic Forum masters.

My take is that the left went too far this time. And, they are going to pay dearly.
