Why Don’t People Care?

When I read and watch the news each day, I’m appalled at some of what I read. It’s serious stuff that directly impacts each of us. I keep asking myself “Why Don’t People Care?” There should be outrage, but there is barely a peep. It’s very bothersome.

Ukraine

At least once a week, I read or hear that we are sending more cash and/or military equipment to Ukraine. If you are not aware, we sent them 40 billion dollars about a month ago. Now, we continue to secretly send them billions more. This really pisses me off for two reasons. First, our government is taking this money from my taxes. And second, this money should be invested in America to curb inflation, reduce gas prices and resolve shortages of goods.

Why don’t people care about this? Are people OK with their tax dollars being sent to Ukraine instead of fixing America? Wasn’t 40 billion dollars enough? A lot of people walk around blindly having no idea what our government does with our tax dollars. Maybe if the government went door to door and insisted that you give $1000 on the spot to send to Ukraine, you might get the picture.

Women’s Sports

With some exceptions, biological males are permitted to compete in women’s sports. Do I need to say that again? In many instances, the biological males are winning by a lot. And, in many instances, biological males are breaking records.

Where is the outrage from women? I’m hearing very little. Pretty soon, there will be no women’s sports. Who wants to compete when you have no chance of winning? How about getting cut from a team because a biological male gets your spot? Women came so far for decades, and this sets them back decades. But, they don’t seem to care. I guess it’s more important to support transsexuals than to preserve the integrity of your sports programs.

Gas

The exorbitant gas prices are a self-inflicted wound by the inept Biden administration. We are paying $4.50 to $5.00 a gallon for regular unleaded gasoline. I have never paid that much in my lifetime. Every time I fill up my car, I grit my teeth and call Biden a name that can’t be typed here.

I work at home, so I’ll admit that I don’t get to see people regularly. But, I don’t hear, read or see people outraged at the gas prices. They just pull in to the pump and fill up. Where are these people getting all of this money? Did I miss something?

Military

We are at risk of losing around 40,000 military personnel because of a mandate for a vaccine that doesn’t work. Of course, it is proven that it causes severe adverse effects. Our military protects all of us. So, Biden’s team is exposing us to danger so they can use up the extra coronavirus vaccine stockpile they have before it goes to waste.

This is outrageous, and I don’t hear a lot of outrage. Maybe people don’t care because it doesn’t directly affect their family or friends. People are losing their jobs and livelihood. Do people care anymore for their fellow men and women? Coronavirus is over. And, vaccine mandates need to be over. These people should be left alone. And, if you’re doing nothing, you need to come to their aid.

Conclusion

Some serious stuff is happening and people should be outraged. But, I’m not seeing outrage. I’m seeing acceptance, which implies giving in. I think people believe there is nothing that can be done. But, the first thing that needs to happen is outrage. Our government needs to know that we disagree with what they’re doing. I’m not suggesting that you contact your government representatives because that doesn’t work any more. I’m suggesting that you get outraged and tell more people to get outraged. When enough people are outraged, things will happen.
