Let’s turn the tables on some of the Democrats. What if they said this? Let’s see.
Joe Biden
Americans should come first all the time, every time. They should be able to get anything they need at a reasonable price. Life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness must drive every decision I make. My job is to protect Americans, and I take that seriously. That’s why I’m closing the southern border effective immediately. I love every American regardless of their political affiliation. My job is to bring people together and stop the division in America.
Nancy Pelosi
Every American life is precious. Even the unborn. Killing the unborn is against everything I learned in my Catholic upbringing. God would not want us to break His commandment, “Thou shalt not kill.” Being a child of God, I stand with Him when it comes to abortion. If I didn’t feel this way, I would not receive communion. But, my conscience is clear because I don’t condone abortion.
Liz Cheney
The pursuit of truth is so important to me. No lie should be allowed to stand. There are two sides to every story, so it is critically important to talk to both sides. I believe in our Constitution, so every person is innocent until proven guilty. It angers me when people doctor videos and transcripts to persuade a desired outcome.
Adam Schiff
I hold myself to a very high standard. My integrity is one of my most important attributes. I tell the truth every time I speak. If I’m not sure, I give the other party the benefit of the doubt. I hold a very important position in our government, so it is critical to my constituents that I’m always honest and representing them to the best of my ability. Although there may be some people I don’t agree with, I would never take revenge on them.
Don Lemon
I am a fair journalist, and I make sure that anything I say on CNN is factual. I don’t care if someone tells me to say something that is wrong, I say what is actually true. My journalistic integrity is critical. Without it, my viewers will stop watching. It’s only fair when both sides of a story are reported. Sometimes I even learn from the competing side. I love the opportunity I have, and I want the American people to know the truth about everything.
Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez
I don’t really know a lot about green energy, but I’m learning. I’m so humbled to have been voted into Congress. I’m just trying to listen to all angles before I make my votes. And, I’m making friends on both sides of the aisle. That way, we can work together on legislation in the future. It also sets a great example for my constituents and the American people.

Facebook is available to everyone because everybody’s voice is important. Nobody should be censored because they are protected by the First Amendment of the Constitution. We take that very seriously at Facebook.
I also want to make sure future elections are safe and secure. To that end, I’m creating the “Facebook Election Oversight Board.” The board will make sure that people vote in person with a valid form of identification. They will also oversee political donations, vote harvesting and vote counting.
