What A Waste of Power
For those of you keeping score, what have the Republicans done since winning the majority in the House of Representatives? I read the news quite often, and I can’t remember anything that stood out. Maybe removing Adam Schiff and Eric Swalwell from the House Intelligence Committee. But, nothing else stands out to me. What a waste of power.
Debt Ceiling
Well, I just read that House Speaker sold us out on the debt ceiling negotiations. The Democrats pretty much have a blank check for the next two years before some triggers happen to manage it. So, Biden gets a free ride for the remainder of his presidency. McCarthy needs to work with President Trump on the art of the deal, because his art is horrible.
Biden Crime Family
Hunter Biden is still walking the streets, and Joe Biden hasn’t been impeached. Nice job pretending that you’re going to be so tough Republicans. As far as I can see, you are stuck on this. And, I don’t see a plan to break the stall. This has got to be the easiest pickings out there. Why in the heck can’t you all close the deal? So very pathetic. For goodness, you have the bank records.
Border
Oh, the outrage over the border for about ten minutes. Alejandro Mayorkas has not been impeached. And, illegal aliens are crossing the border by the thousands. By the way, that includes thousands of Chinese aliens. Many of those are likely spies. As usual, the Republican’s chosen action is inaction.
FBI
The Republicans say they will reign in the FBI with the power of the purse because money talks. But, when will that happen exactly? The last I checked, the FBI is still out of control. And, Christopher Wray won’t produce a document you requested. Why isn’t he at a trial like Steve Bannon? Get some stones already!
January 6th
The Republicans have access to all of the video footage from January 6th. Recently, information about the alleged pipe bombs has come to light. The Republicans have an opportunity to blow the lid off the January 6th hoax. And, they can help some of the people stuck in horrible prisons. But, what do they do? Nothing! They can help their own party and voters, but no.
Elections
And finally we come to elections. The Republicans have not mentioned election integrity at all. They are satisfied to lose over and over. And, they don’t care about our votes. As long as the Republicans do nothing, the Democrats will continue to cheat. I wonder if any of them have helped Kari Lake in Arizona. This is the biggest issue of all. The Republicans will never have a position of power if they don’t win elections. Somebody better wake up and soon.
Conclusion
There was hope. And, there was posturing. The Republicans came out of the gates strong, then they went into a whimper. It really disturbs me that the Republicans don’t stand up and do things. The Democrats are mentally ill, but they stick together and they aren’t afraid to punish someone without facts. It’s like a snake and a mouse. I just don’t think these Republicans have the fortitude to fight.
