Top Ten Things Trump Needs To Do
President Trump recently announced his candidacy for a third presidential term. We all know he won in 2016 and 2020 already. As of now, his support appears to be lukewarm. But, here are the top ten things Trump needs to do to gain back his base.
Trust
Besides his monstrous ego, Trump’s biggest weakness is his trust of people. That sounds like it might be a good quality. But, he has been prone to setups (Kanye or Ye or whatever) and turncoats (Mike Pence, John Bolton, Chris Wray, etc.). You need to vet people more.
Names
The name calling was cute for a while, but it’s time to stop. You have a natural humor and you are a great entertainer. And, that let’s you engage your audience respectfully without the name calling.
Mitch
We all know that Mitch McConnell is a slug who doesn’t deserve to breathe. For goodness sake, his approval rating is at 7%. So, stop the bickering and take the high road. Make your points in a respectful way. And, do it at your rallies instead of social media. Don’t document it.
Social Media
My problem with social media is that it’s passive aggressive and your messages are archived. So, your messages can be used against you anytime and anywhere. I love President’s Trump’s positive social media messages, but I hate the negative messages. Use it to your advantage. And, not to your disadvantage.
Melania
You need to get Melania involved. I know she is busy being Baron’s mother. And, I’m sure she wants to keep him shielded. But, she has been mysteriously absent so far. It is very unsettling. We need to see that support.
Achievements
Rather than attacking Biden’s failures, tout your achievements over and over and over. Draw comparisons to how your achievements sharply contrast with Biden’s failures. Let the country know how your achievements made us great.
Positions
Don’t get dragged into changing your positions. I mean like those midterm candidates who went wishy washy on abortion because they believed it would win votes. Stay consistent with your positions that make you the best President in my lifetime.
Keep Fighting
You have more fortitude than any person I have ever known. The left is going to do everything in their toolkit to try and stop you from running in 2024. That’s because they know they can’t win. So far, you have beat every trick. So, stay the course. If you haven’t done anything wrong, they have nothing. Your supporters will have your back.
Elections
The fraud in the 2020 election is in the past, so let it go. It can’t be changed. They got away with it. And, it is one of the saddest moments in our country’s history. Focus on election reform instead. The goal is to stop it. You can’t dwell on it because it is just “sour grapes” now.
DeSantis
DeSantis hasn’t even announced he’s running for president in 2024 yet. So, leave it alone. Don’t appear threatened because it is a sign of weakness. If and when he announces his candidacy, then you have your history of accomplishments in the highest office. He’s done some great things as governor of Florida, but you have done great things as president of our country.
