Top Ten January 6th Video Clips
The Republicans in the House of Representatives continue to drip out January 6th video footage at the pace of Moses. Here are the top ten January 6th video clips from my perspective.
Kumbaya
Hiding in the basement, we see Republicans and Democrats holding hands in a circle while they sing “Kumbaya.” Mike Pence is wearing his Eagle Scout uniform while he makes a fire in the middle of the circle. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez is doing some kind of tribal dance outside the circle. And, Jerry Nadler is making smores on the fire.
Psyched
Christopher Wray is jumping up and down in the middle of a circle of undercover agents dressed in Trump gear. He yells to them, “This is our day. Today we round up MAGA losers for Nancy!” Then, Nancy Pelosi jumps in the middle of the circle and kneels in honor of her hero, George Floyd. She tells the agents to round them up in the name of George Floyd.
Television
Some Capitol police officers are seen in a lounge watching President Trump’s speech and cheering for him.
Biden
Joe Biden is seen wandering around the Capitol building asking people if he is in Ukraine. Then, he wanders outside and asks a bystander if he is in the White House.
Don’t Shoot
A young Capitol police officer is seen with his rifle turned the wrong way. He keeps shooting himself in the face with rubber bullets. Then, one of his fellow officers turns his rifle the right way. When he shoots the next bullet, it ricochets off the wall and hits him in the face. Angry at his fellow officer, he turns his rifle back around and shoots himself in the face again.
Ray Epps
Ray Epps is seen next to a phone booth. When he sees some Trump supporters, he jumps in the phone booth and comes out with Trump clothes. Then, when he sees the undercover FBI agents, he jumps in the phone booth and comes out with his undercover FBI clothes. When he sees a group of women, he jumps in the phone booth and comes out dressed as a woman. And, not a pretty one.
Adam
Adam Kinzinger is seen laying against a wall in the building crying and sucking his thumb. He has also wet himself. He can be heard mumbling “This is the worst day in history.”
Liz
Liz Cheney is seen being held back by her Democrat friends. She is yelling “I’ll take them all! I’ll shoot them like my dad shot Harry.”
In Hiding
In a particularly odd clip, you can see former President Obama behind a wall throwing water balloons at the Trump supporters. Then, when he hits one of them, he falls over laughing.
Stooges
In the spirit of the Three Stooges, you can see a group of our scared congressional representatives run into a room in a hallway. Then, some of them run out into another room. The remaining ones run out into a different room. They keep doing this until they run into each other in the hall and fall on the ground.
