This is a fictional short story named “The President Who Wasn’t.” It is about a president who wasn’t really the president, and his adventures. The names were changed to protect the guilty.

How it Happened

The future effects of the coronavirus vaccine are unknown at this time

As Joe Bisen sat in his basement, Obasa told him to stop worrying. Obasa told him he didn’t need to campaign. Bisen asked him why. And, Obasa said that he will win the election. After Bisen whined, Obasa said he could do a car rally. There were thirteen cars in chalk circles. After Bisen made a few comments, Obasa whisked him back into the basement.

Several battleground states changed their election laws because of a pandemic. So on election day, Trusp was winning big in the battleground states. Then, they stopped counting ballots. And, the next morning, Bisen was winning in all of the states that stopped counting votes. And just like Obasa told him, he allegedly won the election.

Day One

After Obasa pointed Bisen in the direction of his inauguration, Bisen read the speech Obasa wrote for him. Then, Obasa led him to the White House after he mistakenly entered a white house with a family living in it.

Bisen was excited to be in the White House, and he was eager to take a nap. But, Obasa told him he needed to sign a lot of important documents. So, Bisen sat down at a desk and a person brought a stack of executive orders for him to sign. As Bisen began falling asleep when he was supposed to sign the first order, a woman came out and grabbed his hand and pen to make a signature.

Day Two

When Bisen woke up the next day, his hands hurt from signing orders. So, he told Obasa that he needed a vacation. Obasa told him that’s a good idea and that they can handle things while he is gone.

Day Three

When Bisen woke up on the first morning of his vacation, he noticed that he wet the bed. So, he gathered the bed linens and started to make his way to the laundry room. But, he tripped on the stairs and fell down. When he tried to get up, his hand slipped on the railing and he fell down again. Once he got down the stairs, he jumped on his bike to go to the laundry room. But, as he put his foot on the pedal, he tripped and fell on his bike. He got up and shook hands with a ghost, then he went back in the house to rest.

Day Ten

Bisen returned from his vacation and was eager to take a nap. But, Obasa told him that they needed him to hold a press conference. Obasa gave him a speech and a list of reporters to call on. He also gave him answers to the questions. At the press conference, Bisen confused his speech with the list of reporters to call on. First he called on “I’m happy to be president.” He repeated, “Is ‘I’m happy to be president’ here?”

After Obasa whisked him away, Biden said he is tired and needed a vacation. Obasa told him that’s a good idea and they can handle things while he is gone.

Day 200

Obasa told Bisen that he would meet with Vladimir Putin that day. When it came time for Bisen to speak, he had fallen asleep. A woman pretended to come out to do something else and she secretly pinched Bisen. When he woke, he walked over to Obasa and asked him if he could get some ice cream. Obasa told him that’s a good idea and that they would handle things while he is gone.

When Bisen returned with ice cream all over his face, he told Obasa he needed a vacation. Obasa told him that’s a good idea and that they would handle things while he is gone.
