The Last Two Americans Finale
Last we left Pete and Grace in “The Last Two Americans Part Two,” they were heading to northern New Jersey. They lived in the woods for three years now as the last two Americans who are unvaccinated. Make sure you read parts one and two before you embark on “The Last Two Americans Finale.”
Discovery
Pete wondered if the world changed while they lived in the woods. So, he decided to go to the nearest town to see what he could find out. After a shower in the waterfall, he told Grace he was going to town. Grace was uneasy, but supported him.
As Pete climbed down the mountain and started on his way along the highway, he thought it was eerily quiet. He thought he would hear trucks and sirens from the military. But, nothing. He glanced to his right and saw something in the distance. As he walked toward it, he saw a dead man on the side of the road. Oddly, the man was clutching his chest.
Side Effects
Pete continued walking, but heard Grace yelling to him. She decided she wanted to go with him. Grace asked if Pete saw all of the dead people at the bottom of the mountain. Pete said he didn’t. And, Grave said that many of the dead people were clutching their chest. She said that one dead person was laying next to a huge blood clot. Pete was scared.
Maybe there was a war of maybe a bioweapon. Why was everyone dead? Or, maybe it was just these people that were dead. Pete decided that they should continue to the town.
Town
After about an hour, Pete and Grace arrived at the town. They didn’t see a live person, but they did see a lot more dead people. Pete grabbed a radio from the convenience store, but there were no channels to listen to. So, he grabbed a newspaper. The date on the newspaper was January 31, 2024. He saw an article on the front page about the side effects of the vaccine.
The article mentioned vaccinated people having heart attacks and getting blood clots. That certainly could explain the dead people they saw. Pete told Grace that he doesn’t think they are the last two unvaccinated Americans. He told her he thinks they are the last two Americans. Period.
Finale
Grace felt bad that America fell for the vaccine hoax. But, she was proud that Pete and her stood their ground. As they gathered some things to take back to camp, a man jumped out from the back of the store. He descended upon Grace and stuck her with a needle. When Pete went to help Grace, the stranger stuck him with a needle too.
Unbeknownst to them, Pete and Grace got vaccinated. They went back to their camp. Thirty days later, Pete died of a heart attack and Grace died of a stroke caused by a large blood clot. They died alone in the woods. For three years, they were the last two Americans who didn’t get vaccinated. But now, they were like everyone else.
