Return of the Trump Rally
Saturday, June 26, 2021, marked the return of the Trump rally in Wellington, Ohio. It was about five months since his last rally on January 6, 2021. I was eager to see how the rally would be received, because I think it was important to set the right tone after the FBI, Antifa and Black Lives Matter coerced Make America Great Again (MAGA) patriots to enter the Capitol building.
Attendance
About twenty thousand MAGA patriots were in attendance at the “Save America” rally. Another two million watched it online or on Newsmax. Clearly, people aren’t scared of the government agencies like the FBI tracking them down and arresting them.
The loudest cheer of the night was “Trump won.” A reference to the illegitimate 2020 election. The crowd also chanted “Four more years.” That might happen sooner than later.
God, I Miss Him
It has been a hellish five months. And, it has been so difficult to watch our country tumble into the socialist, fascist and Marxist abyss under the Democrats. Other than President Trump’s press statements, we have kind of been leaderless during this spell. And, then there he was. Standing up and reassuring us that he was ready to fight with us. And, I felt good because the MAGA team is mobilizing again.
Non-Violence
When the FBI, Antifa and Black Lives Matter don’t infiltrate a Trump event, there is NEVER any violence. And, that was the case in Wellington. In fact, when I watched the video, I saw people laughing, dancing and having fun. That is, and has been what Trump rallies are all about.
Yes. There is chanting that occurs. But, none of it is threatening. In fact, most of it is funny.
Music
It was so nice to hear Lee Greenwood’s “God Bless the USA” as Trump took the stage. I really needed that. And then, “YMCA” at the end while Trump exited the stage. It felt like old and better times. Using the song “YMCA” was perfect for Pride Month, as the group “The Village People” were LGBTQRSTUVWXYZ. Way to be inclusive President Trump!
Guests Stir It Up
Representative Jim Jordan of Ohio is one of my favorite conservatives. During his speech, he said that you can’t go to the capital and petition your member of Congress because Nancy Pelosi won’t let you in. The crowd started chanting “Lock her up.” Just like old times. Nancy replaced Hillary, and that’s not something for Nancy to be proud of. Jordan also said that Vice President Kamala Harris would have never gone to the border if Trump didn’t schedule a visit.
Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene (MTG) of Georgia is a spitfire, and I love her. The people of her district should be very proud of her. In her ongoing attacks on Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (AOC) of New York, she referred to her as a “little Communist” and “not an American.” She asked the crowd if Trump was still their President, which met with loud cheers.
AOC’s response to MTG’s attacks was that she was taller than her. For the record, that isn’t a denial that she’s a communist and not an American. She’s just a tall Communist.
Representative Anthony Gonzalez
Yikes! I wouldn’t want to be Anthony Gonzalez. President Trump shredded him. He called him a “grandstanding RINO (republican in name only) who is not respected in Washington, D.C.” And then he rebuked him for being one of ten Republicans who voted to impeach him.
President Trump told a hilarious story about how Gonzalez kept asking him if he could ride on Air Force One. Trump said “I didn’t know him well, but he kept asking to ride on Air Force One. So, I put him on the plane. Next thing I see is that he voted to impeach me.” He concluded by calling him the candidate of Liz Cheney. That’s like being branded “I’m an ass” on your forehead.
Gonzalez says he is unfazed by the attacks on him at the rally. But, what else is he going to say? Thousands of his constituents cheered his demise and millions of people watched his takedown. I think he’s “fazed.”
He’s Still Funny
I can always count on President Trump to make me laugh at his rallies. He delivers punch lines perfectly, and uses sarcasm in the most hilarious way. I love when he singles out the fake news cameras in the back. When he says something controversial, he always says that their little red lights just went out. Meaning that the cameras are turned off.
Conclusion
I love that President Trump is getting back out there. Sometimes I think about that unwritten rule that a past president doesn’t criticize a sitting President. But, this is different for a couple of reasons. First, President Trump can run for president again, so this is hopefully the beginning of a campaign. Second, President Trump loves our country and it’s people, so he’s trying to help us while the Democrats destroy our country.
I’m sure the Democrats are seething inside. Not only does the resumption of Trump rallies restore the “domestic terrorist” movement, he also calls them out publicly for the hypocrites they are. It won’t be long before Nancy Pelosi locks down Washington again. We’re coming with our flags and bibles singing the national anthem along the way. I hope Nancy and the FBI get intelligence before we show up.
