Remember Kevin Costner’s T-Shirt

Last modified date

I think celebrities are some of the dumbest people on the planet. For the most part, they are people who have the “looks,” but failed all of their classes. So, what better to do than become a celebrity. But, eventually the “dumb” surfaces. Remember Kevin Costner’s t-shirt. The one where he supported Liz Cheney.

Oh Kevin!

Remember Kevin Costner's t-shirt

Costner was riding high on the heels of the “Yellowstone” series. He played a conservative politician in the series and the entire series was pretty conservative. Then, he thought it would be a good idea to proudly wear a Liz Cheney t-shirt and rub it in all of our faces. I think Cheney was down by about fifty points at the time and she was one of the most despised politicians in the world.

Since then, the Yellowstone series went dead. I haven’t heard a peep about it. And, Costner has disappeared from the limelight. The truth is Costner lost his following. Me included. These people think they can say and do anything with no consequences. But, they are sadly mistaken. I have had enough. And, so have a lot of people I know.

Not Swift

The problem with Taylor Swift is that she thinks she is so popular that she can say and do anything she wants without consequences. So, when she decided to get into politics, she believed that was fine. But, she stupidly insulted at least 25% of her followers. This group of fans are gone forever. I’m sure she has so much money that she doesn’t care. But, it’s still stupid.

Johnny Come Never

I have to admit that this one caught me completely off guard. John Cusack is an “over the hill” actor who doesn’t get any roles now. So, he decided to become a political activist like “washed up” Alyssa Milano. However, Milano is like a Rhodes Scholar compared to Cusack. His ramblings are incoherent and blatantly false. He should be embarrassed, but the radical left encourages his nonsense.

Conclusion

I don’t know why celebrities choose to be political. It’s divisive and contrived. They believe they can sway their alleged fans to think like they do. That’s narcissistic. If I was a celebrity, I would want to connect with all of my fans doing what I do best. That is entertaining all of my fans. I would never insult any of my fans.

Celebrities are free to do whatever they want. But, fans are also free to do whatever they want. Just remember Kevin Costner’s t-shirt.
