Lola Was Ahead Of It’s Time

In 1970, a group named The Kinks released a song titled “Lola.” The song details a romantic encounter between a young man and a possible transsexual woman or crossdresser, whom he meets in a club in Soho, London. This was the first album I ever owned. I listened to that song a million times wondering how that could happen to the man. But, now I know that Lola was ahead of it’s time.

Children

Of course, we have to start with what is happening to our children. Boys are being encouraged to become girls and girls are being encouraged to become boys. This is happening as early as five years old. And, it doesn’t even matter what the parents want.

Because of this, there will be a lot of Lola’s around in about five years. As the songs lyrics say, “It’s a mixed up, muddled up world. Except for Lola.” How true.

The Office

A transformation is occurring in the office. Women are like bulldogs and men are like sheep. It bothers me because I’m old school. But, the young men don’t seem to care. I was in a meeting recently at work and there were eight women and two men including me. Every time I tried to say something, one of the women would rudely cut me off. And, the other man didn’t speak.

More and more dads are staying at home with their children while their wife works. Actually, the estimate is 2.2 million dads. That’s an all time high.

Out and About

I always take note of what I see when I’m out and about. And, what I see is a bunch of men who look and act like women. They’re so feminine. However, the women just look and act like women. I have to wonder if we are headed toward a one gender society. Seriously, the men either look like a woman or they look gay.

Last Word

Lola was a concept when Ray Davies of The Kinks wrote his song. Back in 1970, it was uncommon for a person to be a transsexual or crossdresser. However, it has become more common since then. Unfortunately, it has exploded in the last two years. But, it’s not just gender swapping. It’s women acting like men and men acting like women. I don’t like where we’re heading. But, Lola would feel right at home.
