Let’s Check In On the Woke Score
Quite a while ago, I wrote a post thanking the woke world for finding me better options. But, let’s check in on the woke score since that post. We’ll see how I’m doing.
Target
I haven’t set foot in Target in over a year. I used to shop there and probably spent over $1000 a year. The small businesses appreciate those dollars more. Thanks Target!
Bud Light
I was never a big Bud Light drinker, but I enjoyed their Bud Light Lime in the summer. I haven’t bought a Bud Light product since they decided to market to boys pretending to be girls. Instead, I drink Yuengling and only Yuengling. They are America’s oldest brewery and all American. It’s nice when I know my dollars are supporting America and a better tasting beer. Thanks Bud Light!
Bed Bath and Beyond
I used to spend a good bit at Bed Bath and Beyond. Especially around the holidays. When they decided to stop carrying MyPillow because Mike Lindell had concerns about election integrity, I took my business elsewhere. Eventually, Bed Bath and Beyond went bankrupt and closed stores. Bye Bed Bath and Beyond!
Music
Since Neil Young, who is not a doctor, told me that I need to put an experimental poison in my body, I moved on to country music. In fairness, it wasn’t just Neil. Other non-doctor musicians did the same. I have listed to country music every day since that. And, I have found a new place for great music. Thanks Neil and doofus musicians!
Olympics
After that insulting opening ceremony, boys beating up girls and athletes deathly afraid to speak up, I decided it would be more fun to watch movies. And, that’s exactly what I did. In fairness, I heard there were some athletes who did things to show their faith. Thank God for them. I watched one hour of the entire coverage, and I’ll never watch again until they make major changes. Thanks Olympics! I got to see a bunch of movies I wanted to watch.
Wegmans
If you don’t know, Wegmans is a grocery chain. Quite a while ago, they eliminated plastic bags. However, they are happy to sell you reusable bags or paper bags. So, although nearly every product in the store is in a plastic container and the deli uses plastic bags, they are saving the environment by making it harder on the customers. There is a Weis grocery store by my house, and now I am a gold shopper there. I probably used to spend about $400 a month at Wegmans. Now, I do all my shopping at Weis. Thanks Wegmans!
Conclusion
The woke think they are doing such a wonderful thing. But, they just drive away customers. More importantly, customers like me actually experience a lifestyle change. And, we never go back. I am certain that they don’t care. To them, I’m just a bad customer anyway. Their logic is that they don’t want me. And, I’m perfectly fine with that. But like Bed Bath and Beyond, it will eventually blow up when you don’t want half of your customers.
