In My Humble Opinion
A lot of things in world politics have my mind racing right now. In my humble opinion, I have some comments and questions that I need to get out because it’s bothering me.
Hearings
They need to end these House and Senate hearings. I watched some snippets of the Senate hearing with FBI Director Christopher Wray. Most of his responses were “I can’t comment on an ongoing investigation.” Republican senators like Josh Hawley and Ted Cruz were very tough on Wray. But, it doesn’t matter because nothing ever happens after the hearing. There is no follow up and no accountability.
January 6th
I just read that Speaker of the House Mike Johnson is going to release the next batch of January 6th videos. But, he is going to blur faces in the interest of security. I have a few opinions about this. First, who is he protecting? Second, the faces are crucial to the story. They didn’t blur any faces of the attendees. In fact, they zoomed in on them. Third, it is very curious that faces need to be blurred. Exactly what was going on? We the people want to know.
Women
I just read that two biological males placed one and two in a cycling race. When are the women of this country going to decide that they have had enough of this? After all of those decades of fighting for women’s rights and equality, women have lost everything they gained. Women are ridiculously losing everything. Biological males are in their bathrooms. And, they are winning all of their sporting events. They are on the Sports Illustrated swimsuit edition and in Victoria’s Secret ads. And, they are taking away advertising sponsor jobs like Dylan Mulvaney. When is it enough?
Putin
When did you ever think that Russian President Vladimir Putin would be more of a pope than our own Pope Francis? Putin has taken a stance on religion and family. He laughs at America’s fascination with LGBTQ+ and transsexualism. At the same time, Francis is quiet about religion and family. All Francis cares about is global warming. If the pope doesn’t start paying attention to the church he leads, there will be no global warming because God will intervene. And, that won’t be good for Francis.
Conclusion
Have you ever had things swirling in your head? That’s what happened here. Sometimes I wonder if some people still have common sense. A woman was complaining tonight about how she felt horrible after getting her coronavirus and pneumonia shots. I thought to myself “Do you live in a hole?” Who would still get a coronavirus shot after all of the news about it? People don’t think. They listen to Lester Holt on NBC. And, that will be their undoing.
