Something is up. I think I’m being censored. For the last three days, my viewership has been zero. That has never happened in the two years I’ve had this blog. I did check all of the technical connections and they’re fine. The last post that got views was the “Steven Van ZandtAMP” post. Maybe it made the wrong people angry. I can only hope it did.
I’m integrated with Google Analytics as my primary search engine. All of my posts score between 95 and 100 percent for search engine optimization. Yet, when I search for my posts, they are very far down in the results. I’m under almost every left leaning result. For example, when you search “Steven Van Zandt,” a bunch of links about his music and life are returned. Then, a bunch of links about all the things he does with his Democrat buddies. And finally, the bad stuff including my post.
That is no accident. The same thing happens when you search just about anything. For President Trump, it’s the inverse. The first links returned are the bad stuff. Try searching for Joe Biden. A bunch of fluff is returned. Try searching for Kamala Harris. More fluff. Google tailors search results and that’s the truth.
Brave
I use the Brave browser and search engine because I believed it was a better option. No such luck. It looks like Brave uses the same search engine algorithm as Google. I tried the same searches in Brave. Although the results are slightly different, they align as I described above. It’s so frustrating.
Conclusion
We live in a world of state-media. The Republicans better take notice because they will never win another election in this environment. Most people don’t even take notice that the search results are skewed. If it’s on the first page, it must be true to them. That goes for the “nicey” Democrat results and the “dastardly” Republican results. We have an uphill climb.
