Having a Bad Weekend
I’m having a bad weekend and here is why.
My Weekend
- A man and a woman on my project team at work feel compelled to put me down at every opportunity. And, I’m the project manager.
- I am still using my original laptop at work from 9 years ago. I requested a new one last week, and I was told I would have it by last Friday. And, I still don’t have it.
- I have been dropping things and spilling things all weekend.
- I went to buy something at the store and forgot my wallet. I had to go all the way back home and back to the store, and back home again.
- Dwayne Haskins was hit by a dump truck and killed this weekend. He is a backup quarterback on the Pittsburgh Steelers, and I am a Steeler fan. It was absolutely tragic.
- I uncovered our fig tree and little varmints got in and chewed the bark off a lot of the tree.
- If you haven’t seen this episode of Tucker Carlson, you have to watch it. Conservatives aren’t just fighting the Democrats.
- President Trump endorsed Mehmet Oz to represent Pennsylvania in the Senate. He doesn’t vet these candidates before endorsing them, and it may end up hurting me in Pennsylvania. We don’t need another Pat Toomey replacing Pat Toomey.
- I went to the grocery store and had trouble finding things under five dollars. I refused to buy anything and left. It is ridiculous and people should be shouting from the mountains.
- My spreader broke and I had to buy a new one. There went $80 for a flimsy plastic spreader that will probably last less than five years.
- I was told at work that I would get a bonus for delivering my project on time, which I did. And guess what, dead silence.
- It is April 10th and it was 45 degrees outside today. When is global warming going to kick in and make it warmer?
At least I still have God in my life and we’re starting the holiest of weeks. It can only get better from here.
