All Judges Need To Be Replaced
Two disturbing things happened this week. First, the Supreme Court ruled that the Biden administration can cut down protective wire on the Texas border. Second, an Obama-appointed judge sentenced Peter Navarro to four months in prison. The judiciary is broken. All judges need to be replaced. Change is desperately needed.
Supreme Court
Why is it that when the conservatives have a majority, they don’t have a majority? As stated above, the Supreme Court allows Biden’s team to cut down protective wire put in place in Texas. Number one, are they too busy eating bonbons than to notice that we have a crisis of illegals entering our country? Number two, doesn’t Texas have a right to secure it’s border?
I’m a piker when it comes to law, but I know enough that this decision stinks to high heaven. In fact, I’ll outright say that it is rigged and/or influenced.
I’m done with the presidential appointments to the Supreme Court. The justices should be elected by the vote of the people every four years. They definitely should NOT have life terms. The Supreme Court has too much influence on our country. In fact, we are beholden to them. And, that must stop.
Federal Judges
I am so tired of hearing Judge X, an Obama-appointed judge, sentenced a conservative to life in prison for looking at Biden funny. The presidential appointment of federal judges need to stop. These judges should be voted on every four years by the people. The judges can do whatever they want because their is no accountability. So, a judge can turn out bad and doesn’t have to worry about her/his position.
I have watched the Senate Judiciary Committee hearings to vote on federal judge nominees. Since Biden is in office, the Democrats on the committee blindly vote yes for every candidate. The Republicans do great research and approach the candidates with valid concerns. Sometimes the candidate can’t or won’t answer. Then nothing happens and another bad judge is placed for life to do whatever they want.
Plan
Let’s begin with the 2024 election. All Supreme Court judges and federal judges will be up for re-election. Every voter votes for the Supreme Court judges. The federal judges are voted for in local elections. State judges are eligible to run for a federal judge position. Federal and/or state judges are eligible to run for Supreme Court positions.
Judge candidates will not be designated by a political party, so they will only appear by name on the ballot. We should only care about their merits. It shouldn’t matter if the judge candidate is conservative or liberal. Potential to be a good judge is all we need. If a judge turns out to be bad, she/he can be voted out in four years. That’s called a check and balance.
Conclusion
The judicial system has fallen apart. It is polluted with bad judges and people. Trials used to be fair and people were treated with respect. Now, if you can get your case in front of a judge appointed by the president of your liking, you have a 95% chance of winning. That is regardless of the evidence and trial presentation. The judicial system is political now. The first step is to introduce accountability by allowing the people to vote for them. That can’t happen soon enough. Bad things are happening.
