Catholic Identity Conference 2022

Michael Matt is the editor of the Remnant Catholic newsletter

I had some friends over yesterday and we were talking about The Remnant and Michael Matt. I mentioned in a prior post that Michael Matt is a real American leader who was instrumental in helping me through the coronavirus period. Anyway, we all decided to go to the Catholic Identity Conference 2022 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, from September 30th to October 2nd.

What is it?

The Catholic Identity Conference is an annual gathering of Catholics who desire to keep the longstanding and traditional values of the church. Through carefully selected speakers, people can come together to understand and overcome some of the evil in today’s world.

Michael Matt has a saying “Unite the clans.” This means that Catholics need to unite behind the church and fight to keep our faith true to the days of Pope John Paul II and Pope Benedict. I’m very excited for us to unite with the other clans. We’re joining the cause Michael!

Speakers

I wrote about Archbishop Vigano (the real Pope) before. In fact, it’s one of my most popular posts. I can’t wait to hear him.

John-Henry Westen is the co-founder and editor-in-chief of LifeSiteNews.com. I read a lot of the news on their site and it is all very aligned with my values.

Father James Mawdsley is a Catholic priest of the Priestly Fraternity of Saint Peter (FSSP). Prior to seminary, he was a prisoner of conscience in Burma. This should be interesting!

Steve Mosher is an internationally recognized authority on China and population issues. With the Catholic issues in China and the Bill Gates depopulation agenda, this will be intriguiging.

And, there are many more amazing speakers.

Conclusion

I subscribed to the videos from last year’s speakers. They were awesome! If you cannot go in person, I recommend subscribing to the videos.

Sometimes I feel like I’m on the sideline cheering everyone on the field who are being active. I know this is just a conference listening to speakers, but I’m in the game. I’ll get to meet like-minded people and become part of the clan that will retain order in the institutions of the church. For that, I’m grateful.
